  I had AT&T Internet for my house and every 6 months it would go out completely. They would come, dig up my yard, repair the line and leave. I eventually learned that the line was getting flooded underground and the issue couldn't be permanently fixed. When they came out 6 months later (my yard still bare from the first visit) I called and they let me cancel even though I was in a contract since this was nobodies fault and I was tired of them wrecking my yard. I got my bill finally and of course it has a $105 early termination fee and they refuse to remove it. I've since cancelled both cell lines and moved to Sprint. We had been with AT&T for over 10 years and this is how they lie and steal from their loyal customers. I will be paying the fee...and since AT&T is in all 50 states they can be sued in small claims court. If anyone has had a similar issue I highly suggest paying a court appointed official to deliver a summons and once that's complete your pretty much guaranteed an easy win in court.
